I have a question about the quality of service of the Kannel SMS Gateway. I will connect Kannel to a SMSC with a rate of 64 Kbit/s. I would like to know how many sms could be received by Kannel ? 2 SMS per Sec 10, 100, 1000 ??

Hard to tell, probably around 10 or more, minimum 5-7 a second. With these small margins, it probably depends on which Kannel module you are using, and your connection type.
1) For query/response-type connections, the ISDN response time is about 100 ms for an average connection, which limits it to max 10 responses per second.
2) If query/response doesn't matter, the transfer rate of 64 Kbps is around 7500 b/s, so optimally maybe 20-30 messages/sec (depending on protocol/router/connection window size).
