Hi Robert,

I don't think this is a standard/default feature of kannel.

First step is to get the number from your dialin router/modem. Because
it is not send via the PPP protocol or something. It just general
caller-id that you should use.

I think I would leave kannel out of this. Just configure you
webserver/application that it fetches the msisdn from your dialin router
when needed (using SNMP or something) , this is the place where msisdn
and IP address are mapped.

To deny calls on MSISDN is also not doable for Kannel, do this at your
dialin router.

Good luck!

Rene

Subject: MSISDN info

Hi

I am looking into using Kannel WAP gateway. I've not built it yet but
I've had a look at the documentation and I cant find the answers to the
following, can anyone help ?

q1) is it possible to get access to the MSISDN (phone number) of the
device that made the WAP request and can this be encoded into the http
GET/POST that is forwarded to the content server ?

q2) is it possible to allow/deny specified MSISDNs at the gateway ?

many thanks
Robert
