Thanks Aditya,

Yes, after some analysis to the log of the kannel (smsbox.log and
access.log)
the number fail transaction (error could not fetch)
have the same amount as the lack of the data that should come to the
database.

I have another problem for this:
1. When I ran stress test, suddenly the sendsms-port drop and didn;t listen
anymore, don't know how to check.
2. How to boost the performance of the apache web server? (sorry a little
bit OOT)

Thanks

Joel

Dear Joel,
'Could not fetch the content sorry' message comes in
the case of some HTTP error. May be the case that on Apache the number of
http threads might have reached its max value and it refuses any further
HTTP request made to it.

thnx

Hai everyone,

I am new to this list, wanna say hello to All of you.

I have a problem using kannel, I want to stress test the installation of
kannel, and I use smsfake to do it.
I use Kannel v1.2.0 and v1.2.1

I have 2 kind of machine running kannel and connected to difference SMSC.
let say Machine A and B
on the machine A, I have test using fakesmsc with interval 0.1s and 10000
messages
after test i saw on the database and all transaction received well (100%)

on the machine B, I test using fakesmsc with interval 0.1s and 1000 (one
thousand) messages.
after test i saw on the database only about 550 message received.

I check on my smsbox.log, only 550 line of log that said the transaction is
ok, the other said like below:
2003-10-15 16:51:06 SMS HTTP-request sender:+62855555 request: 'Could not
fetch content, sorry.' url: '' reply: -1 ''

Any body can help me to explain what is that mean?

FYI: i use get-url and I use apache webserver to receive the request and use
postgres to store the transaction.
the process is only receiving the message and then store it to the database.
On the access_log of the apache of machine B, I got the same amount of
incoming request (550)
there's no error listed on error_log

Thanks before!
