Hi Jacques

Thanks for the email, looks like that utility that I found to convert BMP to operator logo format hex doesn't work after all, which would explain why the logo isn't working!

First, this does not look like an operator logo at all, but rather like a
BMP file or something similar stuck after the MCC/MNC, doesn't it? Not sure
any phone will take this, but a Nokia certainly won't. Please check the
Smart Messaging specification and FAQ for details. Don't tell me you got
the phone to accept a similarly encoded message as an operator logo?

In the spec and FAQ, you'll also see that you need to split the message
yourself, and have appropriate udh headers for each part (indicating the
number of parts, the part number, etc.).

Finally, I'm too lazy to decode the BMP file at this time, but you should
know that most phones (and certainly the 5110) do not support anything
larger than 72x14 as an operator logo (if they support anything other than
an operator logo, of course). Larger "logos" are actually picture messages
or downloadable profiles, for the few phones that support them.

Hope that helps,

Jacques.
