Please look into DLRs. That should solve your problem. In short, you need to have an application that will keep track of your smses. Assign a UNI code to each SMS you send out. Mention some URL with the same UNI id to kannel so that Kannel triggers that URL when it receives susccess/failed/queued/xyz... status for your SMS. Then you an do whatever you want.
