Usage of SMS Gateway

Hi Group, I m quiet a new bee in the wireless world... I want to know whether the SMS Gateway provided by kannel does "receive SMS only" job and direct the received SMS to a webserver script (ASP). I want to do some thing like this.. A user with his mobile phone sends a SMS to a specific number....now I want that SMS to reach the Kannel SMS Gateway (ofcourse thru operators SMSC). And once it reaches the Gateway, the SMS shud be directed to a web server URL which handles the SMS. Hence it is just a receive only job... IS this possible with Kannels SMS gateways, and if so how do i tell the SMSC to direct the SMS received to my Kannel gateway...which inturn will send the SMS mesg to a URL to b handled.. Plz help
