Thank you Tim for replayng my post,maybe a little provocative.
Me too, I'm a user like you that stopped to be interested in Kannel
the day I understood I was'nt able to find an smsc to connect.
I asked a lot of time,but without any response.
I'm not a mobile company, I'm a marketing agency.
That would like to sell to his customers SMS and MMS product.
What I found all around was not so cheap, or better, was out of market.
I can resell what I pay the same price of my national major telcoms 
(I'm in Italy).
So I try another time : I'm intersted to buy SMS and MMS traffic.
If anybody here is interested to sell me this product at honest prices
please, contact me privately.
So many customers still ask me for this service, so many times I 
refused being not able to make a right price.
