SMSC with Sony-Ericsson GC82 card

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a SMSC using a GSM modem (Sony Ericsson GC82). 
Kannel 1.2.1 returned error at smsc_at.c:at_open_connection():tcsetattr().
 Has anyone had the experience getting the GC82 card to work with kannel? 
If GC82 card isn't supported, what's a good gsm card that works well with
kannel?
