got the problem solved for the dlr issue
yes u were right as

the simple thing is in the doc/example/dlr-mysql.conf
the mysql groupname for the database fields given is dlr-mysql
and in the user-guide it is given as dlr-db,
i was using dlr-mysql, when i changed to dlr-db it started working.
