Yes, you are correct. This smsc-id identifies your connection to MQUBE.

I have never seen this, sorry (my experience is not much at SMS routing). In
our case, we have one connection per SMSC, each one has its own network. I
think there is no way of telling Kannel where the message came from, as this
is a matter of the SMSC. A good idea would be to ask MQUBE to use a
different short number for each network, if that is feasible.
