Hi All, I hope this is not too much offtopic here, just would like to ask some experienced people, because I've met something really strange.
I'm running an application (assume Kannel ;) receiving SMS-es from GSM devices (modems) via the good old AT2 interface of Kannel. (OK, I could have modified it a bit, but that shouldn't matter much.) Everything running fine for quite a while, but after a couple of thousands (!) of inbound messages, it seems like delivery is stopped by the cellular network. No message gets delivered to my SIM card anymore. The carrier claims my device can't accept more messages, that's why they don't deliver more. Apparently it can, because after inserting another SIM card into the device it will accept messages; really looks like as the SIM was blocked for message delivery. I have been playing this game with the 3rd carrier now, so I start thinking I am doing something wrong. But no idea what it is... Anybody seen anything like that? Any idea or hint is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tamas
