Hello!
I've been using Kannel (3.2) for over 3 months now
without problems. I
could do both MO and MT. I'm using an HTTP Client
for MT since ASP has
no inherent function to open a socket connection.
Just today, I noticed that I could not send
message to the phone from
the web application I made (coded in ASP using the
HTTP Client for
sending SMS to phone). I thought there must have
been a problem with the
HTTP Client (dll file) but I did nothing to it
yet.
Instead, I tried doing an MT directly from the
address bar of IE in the
machine running the Kannel and it worked fine. The
message was received
by my phone.
Similarly, I tried MT in the address bar of IE in
our web server but
then I got Can't connect to the server: Error code
10054.. this means it
could not open a socket connection (which is why I
could not get my HTTP
Client that is residing in our web server run?)
With the above scenario, which is faulty? Our web
server's connection
with Kannel or something bad has happened to our
Kannel ?
Thanks, and I hope somebody could help me out.
