The problem was this. That I have in the file /etc/default/kannel commented the line that the smsbox starts.

The content of the file of bearerbox.log (in my case kannel.log) is this:
now the content of kannel.log does not show any obvious errors. Reading your config from the previous mail, I see that you _have_ a smbox group in there. Do you start a smsbox instance on the machine? If yes, the log-file should be written?!
