Hi Guan, Just connect your mobile phone to the serial port of your PC and start minicom -s (the -s calls the setup). In the setup you have to make different settings like to which port your phone is connnected etc (I've entered /dev/modem which is a link to /dev/tty0). And another very important thing is the Bps setting. My Siemens S35 works at 19200. Then save the settings and exit the setup. Now minicom should automatically connects to your phone. Sorry but I can't help you with the specific AT commands, I think you have to google for it.
Good luck Tom -----Ursprngliche Nachricht----- Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag von Guan Yang Gesendet: Freitag, 11. I've seen a lot of postings here on the list referring to people who first tried to connect to the phone manually using Minicom. After they verified that this works, they proceeded to set up Kannel. Could anyone give me instructions on how to do this? What are the Minicom settings for DCU-11? And what are the AT commands for connecting to the phone, entering the PIN code, and sending an SMS? Thanks, Guan
