Hi Rafael, I'm using kannel on a CDMA network as well, and that should not be a relevant fact.
Anyway, sadly I don't have any Samsung phone at hand, but a lot of kyocera and nokia, even the new NK6255, and when the message arrives to the phone if I hit replay over the message it would be addressed to the original "global-sender = <the_replay_to_number>". Tomorrow I'll get a Samsung color phone to see it's behavior.
