Aarno,
can you share architecture you are using for WAP Push over CDMA ? One
really wants (at least this applies to myself) changes only in wdp level, this
is in the wapbox.
This of course excludes handling of a new network type, for cdma.
Essentially I added the ability to specify params either in the config or on a GET/POST or in the XML doc (ie. for things like service-type). I then, for my personal implementation, added the ability to send a data_sm via SMPP (and another param to specify that you want to send one). Finally I had to patch the segmentation code so that if we were sending a data_sm (which has a max data size of 65k), it wouldn't segment the data. I'm going to go back and re-examine the latest code and re-implement all of this (perhaps differently) before I submit any patches. So if any of that you'd like to see done differently, etc., please offer suggestions now. Like I said, I have another 2-3 patches to submit before I even start this.
Jon
P.S. Everyone we've worked with in the CDMA world uses data_sm for WAP pushes (this includes both SMSCs I connect to with my MMSC and MMSCs that connect to our SMSC), so this is pretty much required.
