I'm running 3 boxes (for SMS Only) with CentOS 3.3, handling from 2 to
8 SMPP connections each and hundreds of thousand SMSes per day on one
of the boxes and NONE of them crashed ever since. One of the boxes
it's running since November 2003 and, apart from regular reboots (that
ususally means 90-120 days) or programmed system's maintenance, I've
never had to deal with any kind of problems with the OS nor Kannel.

In short: Kannel is rock-solid. I think that's true with or without
CentOS or RHEL ;)
