Hi there, I'm trying to understand how I could use Kannel for "sending" MMS, but I'm a little bit lost. Here is what I want to do:
1) I prepare an MMS container to send, and I put it on a web server 2) I send an MMS notification to a mobile phone that supports MMS, in a SMS containing the URL indicating to the mobile phone where to fetch the MMS. 3) The mobile phone receives this SMS, and fetch the MMS over GSM or GPRS. Does someone have a tutorial which would explain that? Is there another way to do that? I'm a little bit confused in using Wap Push service of Kannel... Steps are not very good documented in the Kannel user guide, and I should probably use this service. What I should have first is an explanation of the wap push system in Kannel; not how to configure it because that's very good documented, but how to use it, with a sequence of steps (startig with the push initiator for example, and how does it act). I understood how the wap push system work, but I don't see how to apply it to Kannel... If sending MMS isn't possible with Kannel actually, would like just to have some explanations about Wap Push in Kannel... Perhaps something exists in the archives, but I didn't find it, I'm probably not looking where I should do... Thank's a lot, Yanik HEG Geneva
