Thanks Will, But I am looking for whether any option that we can set in the ini file of kannel, rather than dig in into kannel's source code and modify it.
any one can help? What I know so far when kannel connected to gsm modem, kannel will periodically pool the modem with command AT+CMTI which is probably used for request pending sms (sms that's stored in modem's buffer, not in sim card), and AFAIK, i have no idea for siemens gsm phone because i never saw that command (AT+CMTI) of AT COMMAND list of siemens (S45/ME45).
