wapbox -> bearerbox queue for Push?

I would like to determine if there is any queue buildup between wapbox and
bearerbox when wapbox receives Push messages.  I'm currently unsure of
whether wapbox accepts a Push message prior to delivering it to bearerbox,
and if wapbox will queue several messages prior to delivery.  Statistics
are available via the bearerbox administration interface, but to the best
of my interpretation these represent messages received by bearerbox and
not necessarily wapbox data.  Could someone clarify this for me?
