Why are you posting this in the Kannel list and not in the Astisk list?
You can take up a line in your dialplan:
exten => {$NUMBERCOMPANY1},1,SetCIDName("Call for company1")
exten => {$NUMBERCOMPANY2},1,SetCIDName("Call for company2")
Something like that...

Hey all,
I have recently set up an office asterisk configuration with a dozen or so
cisco 7960's (sip 6.1) telephones.
Outgoing lines are taken care of by a beronet card and two isdn lines. Fax
and analog stuff is handled by a TDM400P.
The office has two main numbers that correspond each to a different
company. I'd like to make sure the called person of the office knows for
which company the caller calls. I tried changing ringtones (does not
work?), xml push (not a success) and everything i could find about the
cisco 7960.
Is there any way to show textual messages (ie "call for company1") on the
cisco 7960's LCD from asterisk when a call comes in from the outside ?
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
