Problems running Wavecom modems 24/7

Hi,   We are running a bank of GSM modems (Wavecoms) and we have found that after long periods (i.e., days) the modems will just start to play up and need power cycling.   Is there anyway to get Kannel to reset the modem periodically? Alternatively, reset the modem after receiving an “ERROR” returned from the modem?   thanks, Brent
