Hi all, Running kannel 1.4 on Redhat 7.2. We have been using kannel for quiet some time. But its only now, we have got a connection to a SMSC(SMPP). We have no problem in connecting to the SMSC. But some times, when we try to send message to numbers, which the SMSC doesnt support(allow) it returns system error (8).
2006-01-02 09:55:56 [12322] [7] ERROR: SMPP[TvrmSMSC]: SMSC returned error code 0x00000008 (System Error) in response to submit_sm. After that it tries to the send message again and again without any interval. From my understanding the SMSC should say its not ok with the destination address as the response. Basically i want to avoid the resending message a without any interval. Presently more than one message is being sent per second.
