Hi Zohar,

You can *not* iniate a GPRS session to a mobile device. It can only
be iniated from the phone.

Hello list,
I need to push data into a mobile device over GPRS (as opposed to SMS). What
are my options in general and with Kannel in particular?
Can I use SMS over UDP (is there really such a thing?)?
Can I use WAP Push over UDP? If so, how do I obtain the device's IP?
Any other options?

agree'ing to Deon here.

What you can do is to initiate a GPRS session by sending a WAP Push message (via SMS bearer) to the device. Then the user will be able to pull for the transported information/object.
