problem sending arabic content

Hello
Am facing a problem when trying to send arabic content with kannel.
I have the content stored in my database as UNICODE (postgresql).
I fetch my data and send it to cgibin kannel's url,
when not setting charset var, i receive :

note with UTF-8 i receive three MTs, that's not the problem anyway, my
problem is how to send my arabic data ?
