Just a tip:

If your car has a flat tire and you go to the mechanic, do you say "My
car doesn't work" or you explain a little about the problem?
Otherwise, he'll dismantle the whole car before noting on the flat
tire, isn't it?

Systems are alike (at least on that area). If you expect for anybody
to jump into your problem and try to help you, you need to provide
more information about it.

"if I use file() function on the request url it doesn't work" it's
quite vague as a description. You need at least to give some clues if
you expect to get a serious answer. Here is some items you need to
provide/check:

0. (Before even posting to the list) make sure that it's not a silly
bug on your code. Most of my problems were.
1. Detailed error codes and text you get in response.
2. The URL that you did use (check it with a browser also)
3. Configuration files (if applies to the problem)
4. Logfile entries where the error is depicted.

You'll soon notice that if you try to answer that questions before
posting, in many cases you'll be able to detect the problems by
yourself (and feel happy about being able to fix it by your own).

One last note, maybe the most important one: read and _re-read_ the
user guide. Most configuration problems can be solved by reading and
understanding the Kannel user guida and also the architecture and
design documents.

It's _very_ important to know the way Kannel "thinks" to be able to
know what's wrong when things aren't working the way you want.
