Hi list, I've been sending through Swisscom's SMSC for quite a while now with one connection. To get more throughput they allow opening multiple sessions to the SMSC.
In order to get this configured is it actually that simple as just copying the existing SMSC-connection settings in kannel.conf a couple of times? group = smsc smsc = emi2 smsc-id = swisscom host = <ip> port = <port> alt-host = <ip> alt-port = <port> smsc-username = xxx smsc-password = xxx flow-control = 1 throughput = 2 Will kannel then do load balancing between the open connections and still use the throughput setting for each connection? I know there are a few Swisscom users out there. How do you configure this? Thanx for help. David
