Its problem of the handsets generating the MO traffic

I get such messages not only from kannel via direct smpp connection
but from different type of windows smpp ESME clients.

Subject:Ramdom strange characters in the MO-SMS

hapanimeli> Hello there,

hapanimeli> I tried to look for a similar case in the forum but couldn't find
one. I'm
hapanimeli> using Kannel 1.3.2 for delivering my SMS alerts and services.

hapanimeli> For some unknown reason, sometimes I get text messages with some
weird
hapanimeli> characters in between letters. For example, if the body of the
MO-SMS sent
hapanimeli> to my gateway was "MIKE" I would receive "[EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL
PROTECTED]@@". Sometimes other
hapanimeli> characters appear. What it makes it more difficult to troubleshoot
is that
hapanimeli> it happens randomly and with all the wireless carriers I'm
connected to. I
hapanimeli> checked with the carrier logs and the messages are sent fine so
this "trash"
hapanimeli> is added at my Kannel Gateway. Anybody has had similar experience?
Thanks
hapanimeli> for any hint you could give me.

hapanimeli> Hapa
