Hi List,

I have a problem with one of my operators. They said me that I’m opening too many connections and it’s affecting the services of SMSC. They don’s gave me any probe that it’s happening but my question is:  “There are some way to control the number of connections that kannel open to the smsc?”

I’m using smpp, to connect this is the smsc group:

#POR Tx

group = smsc

smsc = smpp

smsc-id = POR

host= xx.xx.xx.xx

port = 17603

receive-port = 0

smsc-username = txx2

smsc-password = txx1

source-addr-ton = 1

source-addr-npi = 1

dest-addr-ton = 1

dest-addr-npi = 1

bind-addr-ton = 1

bind-addr-npi = 1

system-type = smpp

interface-version = 33

reroute-dlr = yes

msg-id-type = 1

#POR Rx

group = smsc

smsc = smpp

smsc-id = POR

host= xx.xx.xx.xx

port = 0

receive-port = 3000

smsc-username = txx2_r

smsc-password = txx01

source-addr-ton = 1

source-addr-npi = 1

dest-addr-ton = 1

dest-addr-npi = 1

bind-addr-ton = 1

bind-addr-npi = 1

system-type = smpp

interface-version = 33

reroute-dlr = yes

msg-id-type = 1

Thank you any help guys

Mario
