Unicode is supported by kannel. You need to set the "coding" parameter in the
sendsms HTTP call accordingly, see user's guide for reference.
Or do you have any specific problem? If yes, please provide the SMPP submit_sm
PDUs from bearerbox.log in debug-leve.
