Hiya,
A friend of mine is currently having opportunities with a local GSM
provider to do quite a lot of work with them. I'm currently helping him
build a distro that runs kannel from scratch with easy config tools, etc...
Recently, they've been asking him about USSD (I have not idea what it is
:D), so I'm on a quest to find out what it is, and if kannel supports
it, so we can be laughing all the way to the bank :)
I've done a number of google searches and now I know a bit more about
USSD, but I don't know how kannel's support of USSD is. On the status
page there is:
WDP over GSM USSD
* Status: no support for UDCP (USSD Dialogue Control Protocol) yet.
Does it mean USSD is in, but the USCP extension isn't yet in? If not,
what will it take to add it? it may be an interesting challenge for me
(i code C), but my knowledge of the domain is very limited.
Any light thrown into my current darkness on the matter will be heavily
appreciated.
