Thanks a lot, Ben.
But I still have the following doubt. The script service.cgi after  
a successful processing
returns nothing. What HTTP response should it returns if there is a  
problem and a retry is needed ?

I would test with with a 4xx / 5xx error code myself if I were you.  
Thats what I would expect, but can't be sure.
