Andrew,

It stays connected to kannel to keep receiving messages. You need to quit it with CTRL-C not CTRL-Z (which suspends the process and leaves it connected), then it will be able to connect again.

Hello!!

I'm trying to get Kannel to work with fakesmsc.

However, it doesn't work properly.

I get a reply, but fakesmsc doesn't terminate.

Here is the output from fakesmsc:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# /usr/sbin/fakesmsc -m 1 "100 200 text a fake sms"
2006-12-08 20:19:30 [3728] [0] INFO: Debug_lvl = -1, log_file = <none>,
log_lvl = 0
2006-12-08 20:19:30 [3728] [0] INFO: Host localhost Port 10000 interval

2006-12-08 20:19:30 [3728] [0] INFO: fakesmsc starting
2006-12-08 20:19:30 [3728] [0] INFO: fakesmsc: sent message 1
2006-12-08 20:19:30 [3728] [0] INFO: Got message 1: <200 100 text in mysqla
fake sms>

Afterwhich fakesmsc hangs there and I need to ctrl-Z to stop it. Any
subsequent attempt to send a fake sms again fails and I need to restart
Kannel before I can send again.

Does anyone have any advice on this issue?

Thanks!! :)
