Hi Lars and others,

we have similar product which is able to act as a SMPP server as well, providing SMPP connection for example for content providers which then be routed another SMPP connection to SMSC.

Application Server -> [SMPP] -> SMS Gateway -> [SMPP] -> SMSC
SMSC -> [SMPP] -> SMS Gateway -> [SMPP/CIMD2"] -> SMSC

All billing scenarios and reporting needs are supported and the system includes state of the art web-based administration tool as well.

Our customer range includes operators like Vodafone, America Movil, Telefonica, Cable & Wireless just to mention some of them.

I'm not a sales person, but in case You are interested of reasonable priced field proved SMS Gateway I can forward Your contacts to our sales department or You can check our website http://www.wirelesszt.com

Hi ,
Is it possible to kannel, act as a SMSC gateway ? if it is possible
, do you have any commercial version which has tested with the high
load ?

or else , does any one have some idea , who are the major vendor for
such a stable products ?

i would like see a speedy reply from the list .
Hi Kane,

if you're asking for add-ons that provide SMPP v3.4 and/or EMI/UCP 4.0
server capabilities, so you can run a vSMSC on your own, then I can
provide assistance. I provide commercial add-on extentions (smppbox,
emibox) daemons that allow the following chaining:

  SMSC <-SMPP/UCP/HTTP/GSM/..-> bearerbox <-> smppbox <-SMPP-> client

ie. for SMPP, allowing you to connect your customers via SMPP. So
customers recognize you as SMSC.

All generic messages types (MT, MO and DLR) are transparently supported.

My smppbox runs at almost 2 dozen sites, some of which are GSM wireless
operators, some are SMS aggregators. It handles several Mio. SMS per day
and is designed for high-load scenarios.

Sounds interesting to me too.
Where could I find more onfo?
I tried www.tolj.org, nothing there.
/Lars
