Hello all,

I have been trying to get kannel v 1.4.0 to connect to my usb modem on OSX with no success.

I have connected to it in linux successfully.

The following is the error messages I get:

Any ideas?

Also trying to connect to the USB modem with my linux settings on the Mac through a Parallels Desktop-based linux installation fails because the port seems to be unavailable.

I believe, probably wrongly, that the problem is OSX not releasing the port to my kannel build.
Is there any way to check this.

Thank you in advance for any help, and best wishes for the new year.

Regards,

Oscar Sims
