Hi  Tinku,

I run Wavecom modems

the modems are controlled by kermit in a view to
set the PIN codes of the SIM cards when they are rebooted

the config i have for such Wavecom modem is the following:

group = modems
id = wavecom
name = Wavecom
detect-string = "WAVECOM"
init-string ="AT+CNMI=2,2,0,0,0"
speed = 9600
keepalive-cmd = "AT+CBC;+CSQ"

# SMSC GSM
group = smsc
smsc = at
smsc-id = seik0
denied-smsc-id = clickatell
modemtype = wavecom
device = /dev/ttyS0
validityperiod = 167
sim-buffering = true

group = sms-service
get-url =
"http://localhost/receive/?from=%p&message=%a&received=%T&encode=%C&charset=%c&to=%P";
keyword=default
omit-empty = true
accept-x-kannel-headers = true

this works for me from the first day i started kanel with one motorola timeport
:)

Regards

seik
