All, I've scoured this, any many other resources, and have a couple very simple questions.
Sending SMS via HTTP works fine. Sending SMS via modem AT commands, by hand, w/ CMGF=1 works fine. Sending SMS via modem AT commands, by hand, w/ CMGF=0 works fine. Using test_ppg or HTTP to parse an SMS w/ UDH and simple message doesn't work fine - bearerbox logs show: 2007-01-20 18:19:24 [15590] [7] DEBUG: AT2[xxx]: <-- ERROR 2007-01-20 18:19:24 [15590] [7] ERROR: AT2[xxx]: Error occurs: ERROR (error number not known to us. ask google and add it.) 2007-01-20 18:19:24 [15590] [7] DEBUG: AT2[xxx]: send command status: -1 I can confirm this by using minicom and entering the AT commands by hand. It returns a non-descript error. Needless to say this is frustrating as I'd like to get WAP Push working. The nuts and bolts. - Location: US - Carrier: Cingular - Modem/Phone: Motorola PCS E398 GSM Phone (SLVR) - Sending to: Cingular, Motorola v551 Can it be done, first of all? Second, am I missing something on the phone/modem?
