i'm still periodically getting these messages:

when processing dlr's. it's intermittent and occurs sometimes with very
very low traffic. it's incidence seems to incrase the longer kannel has
been running.
does someone know some way i can debug this? has anyone else ever seen a
similar problem?
now, this error you see means the socket (and it's associated file
descriptor)
have been detached from the peer side.
Means, the SMSC disconnected "hard".
Can you present us some more lines of the log in debug log-level for
review?

so this is a disconnection between smsbox and HTTP server while DLR-URL is
signaled?
Please more output IN FRONT of that ERROR. Switch to debug log-level if
necessary.

it appears that the connection is re-opened immediately... so perhaps this
error is benign?
