"Bind Failed" may be a connectivity problem.
Most carriers use all sorts of firewalls, ids and packet filters to keep their networks safe. That also means that your connectivity depends on someone opening those ports to you. Check with the carrier if their setup it's ok (of course first check _your_ setup, maybe you are having a firewall also?). Also check with the carrier if it supports transceiver mode (and if it's configured to do so).
