HI,

I had a need recently to connect a number of GSM modems, for inbound only connections.

I used a Moxa NPort 5610 terminal server in reverse telnet mode. Not a cheap solution, but a nice one as you connect to the modems over ethernet, means that you can fail over to a second machine without any trouble. Unlike in the situation where you have them physically connected to serial ports.

They do an 8 port and a 16 port version I think. I used the 8 port version, and I think it was about £300.

Hi All,
I am trying to use two GSM modems. One for sending the messages and another one is to receive the messages. I have connected one GSM modem in the Serial port. Another one I have connected to the parallel port using the Parallel to Serial convertor. For testing I have tried to send and receive the sms to the GSM which is connected to the parallel port, but it was not worked.
Can any one help me for this ?
How can I achieve to use two modems in single system ?
Please Urgent.....
