The app I have to develop has to handle both SMPP (possible from multiple MOs) and normal SMS through a GSM modem. Is there any way to set a test environment able to simulate the whole end-to-end message cycle (both ways), without actually sending messages from a handset? I've read about the fakesmsc and drive_smmp utilities, but I'm not sure how to set them up for a full end-to-end, both ways, test on the smpp side (the fact that we don't yet have a link into the MO's smpp server doesn't help either). The direct SMS through GSM modem is not a problem. P.S. Unfortunately, this is my first contact with Kannel and mobile stuff, so my experience is very limited :-( Thank you, Andrei Ionescu.
