Hello.
I try to send oma-settings over smpp. It seems, there is a bug with
message split sequesnce information in UDH headers. When the message
is spitted to several parts, there'is no information in UDH about msg
identifier, msg parts abount and part number. In "normal" case the UDH
should be 11 bytes long for splitted messages: 6 bytes for application
port addressing and 5 bytes for concatenated sms info, but in my case
the UDH is only 6 bytes long.
Can anybody suggest the solution?
My config params:
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = smstraffic
system-type = "VMA"
address-range = ""
group = sendsms-user
max-messages = 10
concatenation = false
The network captured data of failed sms:
Short Message Peer to Peer, Command: Submit_sm, Seq: 2, Len: 191
GSM Short Message Service User Data
UDH Length: 6
IE Id: SMS - Application port addressing scheme, 16 bit address (0x05):
source port 2948, destination port 2948
Wireless Session Protocol, Method: Push (0x06), Content-Type:
application/vnd.wap.connectivity-wbxml
WAP Binary XML, Version: 1.3, Public ID: "-//WAPFORUM//DTD PROV 1.0//EN
(Provisioning 1.0)"
The network captured data of success sms:
Short Message Peer to Peer, Command: Submit_sm, Seq: 2, Len: 191
GSM Short Message Service User Data
UDH Length: 11
IE Id: SMS - Application port addressing scheme, 16 bit address (0x05):
source port 9200, destination port 2948
IE Id: SMS - Concatenated short messages, 8-bit reference number (0x00):
message 151, part 1 of 7
Unreassembled Short Message fragment 1 of 7
