Dear Guys,

I am using kannel ver 1.4.1 on Fedora Core 6 OS.

I am facing a major problem in SMSC Level routing at the bearerbox level.

Following is the scenario :

Say I have SMSCs with ids X,Y,Z....

Now I have two prefixes 040 and 050.

Now if any messages arrive for "X" on prefix 040 or 050 (eg. mobile no
040812821), then they should proceed through this SMSC i.e "X", else if the
mobile no does not have prefix 040 or 050 then I want to route these messages
through SMSC "Y".

I currently have managed to solve the first part of the problem by setting
allowed-prefix="040;050;+040;+050" in the configuration of SMSC "X", so it
allows mobile nos of only those messages to pass through SMSC "X" and rejects
all other messages.

To solve the second part of the problem i.e. routing messages with prefixes
other that 040 and 050 through SMSC "Y",I went to the configuration of "Y" and
added the "X" in the allowed SMSCes section. But this caused a problem as the
bearerbox started routing many(not all) messages for SMSC "X" having prefixes
040 and 050 also through "Y" which I do not want to happen !!!

So does any one have any suggestions for this problem ?

Warm Regards
Stephen
