Dear All: I have my Kannel connected to HTTP SMSC. When high number of hits comes from client, the HTTP SMSC goes into reconnecting state. All messages accumulated are lost, since only way of getting out of this problem is to restart the SMSC.
I know that this problem occurs due to bearerbox creating too many connections and hence exhausting all new connection for making new HTTP SMSC hits. The solution we deployed currently is to limit SMSC bandwidth and it works very fine (No more re-connecting from last many days) However this is offcourse a temporary solution. Can somebody provide some input on resolving this issue? regards Shantanu Chauhan
