Hi.

here's the modem conf from my K800i:

#Modem Detection
group = modems
id = sonyericsson_k800
name = "Sony Ericsson K800"
detect-string = "Sony Ericsson"
detect-string2 = "K800"
init-string = "AT+CNMI=2,3"
message-storage = "SM"
enable-mms = true

Explanation on AT+CNMI:
<mode> - 2 = only 2 is the available value for <mode>
<mt> - 3 = i just chose the higher value

there are other values but my instinct said i dont need it. =D

ok while typing this reply i found motorola's AT command:
i cant attach the file because our server cant attache files more than 3MB

here's the website:
http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/developerguides/

you should register for free before you can download these guides

thanks!
Clarence

    hi denis

    i would suggest reading the AT manual for you phone and add the
    init-string yourself.
    i did that on my SE K800i and now its working.

    just look at the AT+CNMI on the manual then it should have an
    explanation on the values so you would have an option on what to add.

    thanks.
