Incoming SMS -> HTTP gateway

Dear list-

I have a requirement and through some searching found kannel which looks 
like an amazing project but I can't figure out if it can handle my 
rather simple requirement.

I need to receive incoming SMS messages from a GSM modem or similar, and 
to forward each one URL encoded to an HTTP adrress, so something like:

http://myserver.com/incoming?source=447974555999&content=Hello%20World

I have some 2N SmartGates that I can use.

Please could you let me know if this is a suitable application for 
Kannel, and if not perhaps someone could point me in the right direction 
(preferably open source/free software).
