Tony. Seems to me the version of Kannel in the ubuntu/debian repositories has
some issues. I downloaded/compiled/installed Kannel from Kannel.org and that
appears to have answered my earlier problems. It's doing and performing as
documented. Do you have any ideas at all what the problems are with the version
in the ubuntu/debian repositories? Its easy to install via apt-get but doesn't
appear to function as documented or maybe there was something wrong with the way
I installed (sudo aptitude install kannel).
