So the first part of this I am to understand is that no one can really do this on their own, if you want to reach cell phones of a commercial network, you need to use a provider which can talk with that network, right? Also, if SMPP is peer-to-peer, does this mean you are relying on peers being in the areas that you think you will be communicating with? If so, then a GSM provider is wider coverage range? Our responsibility ends after the SMPP gateway connection. after that routing to peer smsc's and other GSM network is the SMPP providers responsibility. we need to configure our kannel gateway with smpp providers username,password,and other parameters.
