Hi Eduardo >From some calcs I've made, the maximum throughput you can reach with a modem is about 480msj/hour. However depending on the network availability, modem, etc, I reached a max of 440-450 msg/hr.
If you need more than that, you can use several modems sharing the traffic -kannel do that natively- or use an SMPP connection.
