I had the same problem but different - the user assigned to the device on linux kept kannel from being able to access it.
What would be the ideal fix for this? It basically fills up the hard drive in a few hours. I think it would be beneficial to have some instructions on how to pipe the logs to an app that will keep them down to a reasonable size.
